Anechó Coffee is Now a WBENC-Certified Women’s Business Enterprise

We’re excited to share an important milestone in our journey: Anechó Coffee is now officially a WBENC-Certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE).

This national certification was granted by one of WBENC’s Regional Partner Organizations following a thorough review process, which confirmed that Anechó Coffee is at least 51% woman-owned, operated, and controlled. The WBENC Certification is widely recognized as the gold standard for women-owned business certification in the U.S. – and we’re honored to be part of this powerful network.

Anechó Coffee is a mobile espresso bar and coffee catering company based in New York City. We specialize in elevating events through thoughtful, high-quality coffee service – from weddings and brand activations to private and corporate gatherings. Every detail we put into our work reflects our core values: creativity, connection, and care.

“This certification is more than a stamp – it’s a reflection of the hard work, vision, and values that built Anechó from the ground up,” said Nikki Outlaw, Founder of Anechó Coffee. “As a woman leading a company in an industry that’s not always inclusive, I see this as both an acknowledgment and an opportunity. It connects us with a broader network of women-owned businesses and forward-thinking companies who value diversity, and it allows us to grow with intention.”

The certification process is conducted by one of WBENC’s 14 Regional Partner Organizations (RPOs) and includes a meticulous review of business ownership, financial structure, and strategic planning. A site visit is also required to validate operations and leadership.

Joining the WBENC network means we are now part of a nationwide community of more than 18,000 certified WBEs, all of whom are committed to growing sustainable, impactful businesses. This opens up access to supplier diversity initiatives from more than 500 Corporate and Government Members – many of which are Fortune 500 companies. It also offers year-round opportunities for education, development, and connection through in-person and virtual events.

Why It Matters

Supplier diversity is more than a checkbox – it’s a strategy for long-term equity and innovation. By doing business with WBENC-Certified WBEs, corporations and agencies invest in a more inclusive economy and support leadership that reflects the real world.

For Anecho Coffee, this certification strengthens our ability to grow in meaningful ways. It gives us access to new relationships, empowers us to reach more clients, and helps us stay true to our vision as we expand. It also reinforces our belief that being women-led isn’t just a detail – it’s part of our identity.

In an industry that’s often fast-moving and brand-driven, Anecho brings a different kind of energy: intentional, people-first, and grounded in quality. From the beans we source to the way we engage with our clients, we care deeply about every part of the experience – and we’re proud that WBENC Certification affirms that approach.

What’s Next for Anechó

With this certification, we’re looking forward to scaling our impact. That means working with more event planners, brands, and partners who share our commitment to excellence and inclusion. It also means continuing to represent women business owners in spaces that haven’t always made room for us – and showing up with our full voice.

We’re grateful for every person who has supported our journey – clients, partners, collaborators, and our small but mighty team. This recognition is a win for all of us, and we’re excited to build on it.
